LEAF Council on Alcoholism and Addictions is dedicated to helping create a community where children and adults can live in healthy environments that are free from the effects of addictive diseases.

We accomplish this through provision or support of education, prevention, public awareness, referral, treatment, collaboration, and advocacy.
LEAF seeks to:

• Prevent any underage gambling as well as problem gambling among all age groups in our community.
• Educate the public and professional community about the risks of problem gambling and gambling addiction.
• Educate the public about addictions as treatable family diseases.
• Develop innovative, evidence based approaches to meet the needs of the community and counter cultural approval, intended or unintended, of underage gambling or of problem gambling.
• Encourage proper diagnosis, treatment, and continuum of care for individuals and families with addictions, and associated problems.
